1. Always Lend a Hand to Your Friends

Teamwork is the secret sauce in Peak. Whether it’s splitting heavy gear, sharing food, or even healing each other, helping your friends is the fastest way to the top. And yes, sometimes you’ll need to use your own head as a trampoline! Just remember: never leave anyone behind—the scoutmaster won’t be happy.

2. Don’t Forget to Cook Your Food

Campfires are for more than just marshmallows. Cook your food to get extra stamina, especially at the very start. There’s a handy campfire right on the shore—use it to prepare coconuts and fill your stamina bar before you set out. Just a tip: cooking food more than once won’t give you any extra benefits.

3. Ropes and Chains – Know the Difference

Both the rope cannon and chain launcher can make your journey a lot easier, but they work differently. The rope cannon shoots a harpoon and unfurls a climbable rope—great for gaining height, but don’t aim too high, as the rope is short. The chain launcher, on the other hand, creates a chain-link bridge, perfect for crossing gaps when climbing straight up isn’t possible.

4. Sometimes You Need to Go Down to Go Up

It’s tempting to always climb upwards, but sometimes the best path is sideways or even down. If you’re stuck, look around for other trails. Exploring side routes often leads to easier, safer climbs and helps you save stamina and supplies.

5. Revive Your Friends at Ancient Statues

If a teammate takes a tumble, don’t panic. You can bring them back at an ancient statue—there’s one at the top of every area. Just interact with the statue and your friends will drop from the sky, ready to continue. Keep in mind: revived scouts have a small stamina penalty, but it’s better than staying down!

6. Test New Foods on Flat Ground

Peak’s terrain can be a bit unpredictable. If you’re trying a new berry or mushroom, do it on flat ground—your backpack (or your body) might otherwise slide down the mountain. Better safe than sorry! If you can, nap in a ditch or flat spot, especially if you don’t know what the food will do.

7. Trust Your Instincts—Danger Looks Dangerous

The mountain is full of traps and hazards, but thankfully, most of them look risky. Watch out for spiky bushes, explosive orange plants, and, of course, bees. That said, honeycombs can give you a nice stamina boost—just be careful not to upset the bees!

8. Out of Stamina? Try Lunging!

If you’re almost out of stamina and just below a ledge, lunge by pressing the sprint button while climbing. This move can give you the last bit of distance you need. Alternatively, spamming the jump button might help you grab the ledge, but it’s risky—you could take serious fall damage if you miss.

The mountain’s layout changes daily, and finding a route can be tough. If you’re just starting, try lowering the difficulty to Tenderfoot at the Gate Kiosk in the airport. This removes the fog and makes route-finding much easier—perfect for learning the ropes!
