Dispatch consists of eight episodes. The developer will release them two at a time on four separate dates, beginning with the game’s launch on Oct. 22.

What to expect from Dispatch
In Dispatch you play Robert Robertson, a former hero known as Mecha Man, who now works as a dispatcher. Instead of fighting in the field, you assign missions to a team of powerful ex-villains and try to get them to cooperate.
Gameplay mixes management and narrative. For example, each character has different stats, and you match those strengths and weaknesses to incoming missions. Meanwhile, there are timed dialogue segments where your choices affect both the immediate outcome and the team’s relationships.
Moreover, the game is story-driven. AdHoc developed Dispatch with several team members who previously worked on titles from Telltale Games, such as The Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands. As a result, the experience is split into episodes with branching dialogue options that change how Robert’s story unfolds.
Finally, the cast includes Aaron Paul as Robert Robertson and Jeffrey Wright as Chase, a friend of Robert. These are credited voice performances in the game.
