Order bunkers in Borderlands 4 are small, self-contained dungeons hidden behind an impenetrable shield. You can’t shoot the gate open — instead you must find and use a locust vial to break the barrier. Below, you’ll find each bunker’s location and exactly where to grab the vial so you can get inside quickly and collect rewards.

Quick overview

Blacklime Bunker (The Howl)
The Blacklime Bunker sits southwest of the Shut-Eye Keep Safehouse, tucked inside a cave in The Howl region. From the cave mouth, you’ll see the shielded gate.
To open it, climb the peak just south of the bunker and either grab the locust vial and fly toward the gate or try to throw it from the peak itself. Either method works — just make sure the vial lands on the gate.
The Crawlcroft (Grindstone of the Worthy)
Head into the Order base in Grindstone of the Worthy. If you’ve unlocked the Rustical Hurl Silo, you can teleport close and make a quick run for it.
After crossing the main gate, turn left (southwest) and enter the cave. Follow the path down and you’ll find the bunker entrance at the end of the corridor. The locust vial sits to the west of the gate — behind you when you first face the door — so grab it and toss it at the shield.
Tipping Point (Ideolator’s Noose)
Fast travel to Wyclef’s Reprieve Safehouse, then head west. You’ll find the bunker entrance on the way.
To find the locust vial, go west of the door, cross the giant propeller, and enter the vent tunnel. Turn right, follow the short path upstairs, and the vial is inside the next room. Use the hole beside the vial to drop down quickly and throw it at the gate.
Craven’s Nook (Heart of the Mountain)
Start from Bones of Sanctuary in the Heart of the Mountain region for the shortest route. Head north into the cave and use your grappling hook to reach the bunker entrance.
The locust vial sits on a small platform to the west. Look down from the entrance area to spot it. Move close to the edge until the “grab vial” prompt appears, then pick it up and throw it at the gate to open the bunker.
Ironwall Resolve (Terminus District)
The Ironwall Resolve bunker is located in the Terminus District. Fast travel to Frantic Scrawl and approach the bunker from the south.
Before the vial will be available here, you must complete the side quest “One Gassy Issue.” Talk to Beth north of Sumpview Falls Safehouse in Fades District to start it. Completing that quest activates the locust gas system and makes the vial accessible.
Once that’s done, find the vial on the northeast side of the plaza, just left of the entrance area. Grab it and run back to the gate to unlock the bunker.
The Wireworks (The Low Keys)
The Wireworks bunker is in the Low Keys. Fast travel to Nightcap Safehouse and head south to reach it.
Climb south up the hill, find the left-side platform, and glide to the northwest platform. From there, glide to the elevator platform and climb the wall to the entrance. The locust vial sits at the elevator platform, but note: you can’t climb while holding it. Instead, throw the vial up to the upper level and aim for the gate.
