Amphoreus Loot: How Treasure Chests Work
Each map in Amphoreus is stuffed with loot, but it’s not just about opening chests. You’ll spot a chest icon with a number in the top left corner of your map. That’s your progress tracker, but keep in mind—it only counts regular chests, not those hidden behind puzzles, tough enemies, or Spirithiefs.
Chests here usually give you Celestial Ambrosia. Exchange these at the Tides of the Basin in the Vortex of Genesis to level up and claim rewards like Stellar Jade or items for your Trailblazer. This works much like the treasure system on Penacony. No Warp Trotters or trash cans here—just keep your eyes peeled for Spirithiefs, who might try to nab your loot or challenge you to a battle!
Time Switching and 3D Maps: What’s New?
Amphoreus introduces multi-floor, 3D maps. Some rooms change between dawn and evernight, shifting chest and enemy locations. All chests are marked on a single map, but remember, you’ll need to swap between both time settings to find them all. Explore every corner!

‘Eternal Holy City’ Okhema Chest Locations
Okhema is massive, so we’ve split it for clarity. Check out the right side (Marmoreal Palace) and left side (Marmoreal Market)—both have chests on multiple floors.

Marmoreal Palace (right side) F2:
Marmoreal Market (left side) F1:
Marmoreal Market (left side) F2:
‘Bloodbathed Battlefront’ Castrum Kremnos
Three floors packed with loot, but be alert! The Spirithief in the hallway before the 3D room won’t appear as a chest—it pops up when you try to grab a nymph.
B1: The northern round room has a secret elevator—finish “I Once Was in Arcadia” to unlock four chests!
‘Strife Ruins’ Castrum Kremnos
Don’t miss these! Every floor has unique rewards.
‘Abyss of Fate’ Janusopolis
Explore the northern 3D room and use the giant hand to solve the scale puzzle during dawn. Unlock the lift to move freely between floors.
Vortex of Genesis
‘Sanctum of Prophecy’ Janusopolis (v3.1 update)
Lots of chests appear during the “Janus’ Maze” quest (marked with a blue symbol). The main loot is on F1, so be thorough!
‘Murmuring Woods’ Grove of Epiphany (v3.1 update)
Look out for the Spirithief in the south—this one steals a big block instead of a chest. Use it to unlock a door and reach a nearby chest.
‘Demigod Council’ Dawncloud (v3.2 update)
This area is long! The Spirithief up north steals a floating scroll, not a chest.
‘Dragonbone City’ Styxia (v3.2 update)
3D rooms get tricky here. Use the giant hand to break boxes and the spotlight to grab chests in both day and night.
‘Fortress of Dome’ Eye of Twilight (v3.3 update)
Watch out—one Spirithief here grabs the hidden passage instead of a chest.
‘Fallen Twilight City’ Okhema (v3.3 update)
The Spirithief by the teleporter is triggered by a chimera, not a chest.
Marmoreal Palace (right side) F1:
Marmoreal Market (left side) F1:
‘Lightless Chapel’ Dawncloud (v3.3 update)
Spirithiefs here are after all sorts of things—scrolls, elite enemies, and even other Spirithiefs!
‘Cloudedge Bastion Ruins’ Eye of Twilight (v3.3 update)
Use the compass to create paths and reach floating chests. One Spirithief here will steal a nymph, another the hidden passage. Sweep the 3D room with and without the orb to collect everything.
‘Aedes Elysiae’ (v3.4 update)
One new map, all chests are easy to spot—no 3D headaches here!
