Avatar Aang Joins MTG — Where to Preorder Boosters, Bundles & Boxes Before Nov. 21
Magic: The Gathering is teaming up with Avatar: The Last Airbender for a themed set that officially releases on November 21. Preorders are open now through local game stores and major online retailers, and the collection includes Play Boosters, Collector Boosters, Jumpstart Boosters, several bundle types, scene boxes, beginner boxes, and prerelease packs.

Where to preorder
You can preorder the set from your local game store, and also from online retailers like Amazon. Availability may vary by item and by retailer, so check sooner rather than later if you want specific products.
Boosters
Play Boosters
Price: expected retail $6.99 per pack. Each Play Booster box contains 30 Play Boosters. Each pack includes 3 uncommons, 1 wildcard of any rarity, 1 rare or mythic rare, 1 traditional foil of any rarity, 1 land card, and 1 non-foil double-faced card helper or double-sided token. Additionally, about 1 in 26 Play Boosters replaces a common with a Traditional-legal Edition (TLE) card.
Collector Boosters
Price: expected retail $37.99 per pack. Collector Booster boxes include 12 Collector Boosters, each with 15 cards. Pack contents include multiple traditional foil commons and uncommons, TLE foil cards at several rarities, a traditional foil full-art land, at least one traditional foil rare or mythic rare, and various non-foil and foil Booster Fun rares or mythics. Packs also feature borderless raised foil copies of Avatar Aang, plus either an art card or a traditional foil double-sided token.
Jumpstart Boosters
Price: expected retail $6.99 per pack. Jumpstart Booster boxes contain 24 Jumpstart Boosters, each with 20 cards and one of 61 possible Jumpstart themes. Each Jumpstart pack includes 1–2 rare or mythic rare cards, lands, and a theme insert so you can shuffle two half-decks together and play quickly.
Bundles
Bundles combine Play Boosters with promo materials and extra lands, aimed at collectors and players who want a ready set of packs and accessories. Each standard bundle contains 9 Play Boosters, 15 traditional foil basic lands (including 5 full-art Appa lands), 15 non-foil basic lands (also including 5 full-art Appa lands), 2 reference cards, 1 traditional foil promo card, and an oversized spindown life counter for $69.99.
There is also a Commander’s Bundle priced at $109.99. It includes 9 Play Boosters, 1 Collector Booster, 5 non-foil promo cards (three of which are the same across every Commander’s Bundle), 15 traditional foil basic lands (including 5 full-art Appa lands), 15 non-foil basic lands (including 5 full-art Appa lands), and a click-wheel life counter.

Scene Boxes
Price: $41.99. Each Scene Box contains 3 Play Boosters, 6 traditional foil borderless scene cards, 6 art cards, and a display easel. It’s a display-focused option for collectors.
Beginner Box
Price: $34.99. The Beginner Box is designed to teach new players. It includes 10 themed Jumpstart half-decks (20 cards each), where two tutorial half-decks are meant to be played against each other. The box also contains 5 non-foil tokens, 2 gameboard playmats, 2 “How to Play” guides, 2 reference cards, 2 spindown dice, and a reference guide booklet.
Prerelease Packs
Prerelease Packs are themed around specific Avatar characters and a Magic color. Each pack includes 5 Play Boosters and 1 Seeded Character Booster, plus 2 non-foil double-sided tokens matching the pack’s color, 1 traditional foil year-stamped rare or mythic rare, and a spindown die themed to the pack’s color. These are meant for prerelease events and early organized play.
