What’s in the 2025 World Championship merchandise
The event merch is split across three visual themes. First, the SoCal and Varsity lines feature Pokémon in letterman jackets and a bright, collegiate look. Items include plushes, tote bags, puzzles, shirts, and more. Notable plushes on display were Pikachu, Fennekin, Machamp (each in letterman jackets), and Jigglypuff with a large pink ribbon.
Among those lines, the baseball jersey and duffle bag were highlighted by on-site coverage. These items were shown on displays and in the store layout.
Rockabilly and Sweetheart Diner lines
The Rockabilly section shifts to darker, more tactile items. For example, staff pointed out an Arcanine denim jacket and a black hat with Pikachu in biker gear. Additionally, the Rockabilly collection included lanyards, pins, and keychains featuring Pikachu, Arcanine, and Squawkabilly.
Meanwhile, the Sweetheart Diner collection — which has gone international — was available both on-site and online from the Pokémon Center while stock lasts.
In-person shopping: lines, restocks, and resale
Attending media and creators were given an early look and a chance to shop during the event setup. The venue is large, and reporters described the store as densely stocked with merchandise. However, many attendees reported lengthy entrance and register queues, crowded displays, and shortages of some popular items. Moreover, workers were seen restocking shelves continually while high-demand plushes moved quickly.
Resale activity was also visible. For example, an exclusive Jigglypuff plush with an estimated retail price of $25 was listed on resale sites at higher prices during the event. Reported attendee posts and shopping tips are available from community threads.
Previous shoppers compiled survival guides to help attendees navigate crowds and restocks.
Probably the worst pokemon center ever. Mobs of people trying to stampede and grab the arcanine style merch, people next to me saying "let's buy the denim jackets because it has the highest resale value", are we serious 😑
