Overview

The event runs Oct. 10–16, 2025. Dipplin and Hydrapple make their debut as new evolutions for Applin, and Applin itself appears more often during the week. Additionally, Pumpkaboo and Smoliv have an increased chance to be shiny in the wild during the event.

Also, apples are more likely to appear at PokéStops that are under a Mossy Lure Module. Meanwhile, catching Pokémon with Pinap Berries or Silver Pinap Berries gives you double candy for those catches. Finally, Niantic added extra steps to the “Tales of Transformation” seasonal Special Research for Keldeo during the event.

Candy Apple Timed Research

For $4.99 you can buy the premium “Candy Apple” Timed Research ticket.
