Plot summary
The movie is set directly after the events of Chainsaw Man’s first anime season. It follows Denji as he grows close to Reze, a barista who hides dangerous secrets.
Caught between his budding feelings for Reze and his complicated devotion to Makima, Denji faces emotional conflict while battling a new threat—most notably the Bomb Devil—leading to a climactic showdown.

MAPPA produced the film. It is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, who worked on key animation and episode direction for the series. Returning staff includes screenwriter Hiroshi Seko, character designer Kazutaka Sugiyama, and composer Kensuke Ushio.
