Critical Role Campaign 4 Premieres Oct. 2 — Brennan Lee Mulligan DMs the New World of Aramán
Critical Role launches Campaign 4 on Thursday, Oct. 2, and here are the concrete details about the cast, the setting, and where to catch it live or on demand.
What is Campaign 4?
Campaign 4 takes place in a new setting called Aramán. According to the series’ website, three rotating tables — “the valiant Soldiers, the vigorous Seekers, and the veiled Schemers,” — will explore the world and its “sorcery stemming from the graveyard of the gods.”
Here is the official description for the campaign:
“Hero to many. Enemy to some. When Thjazi Fang is marked for execution, various figures from across his remarkable life unite to uncover the truth behind his grim fate. In a land still suffering from the fallout of dead gods and living in the shadow of a tumultuous rebellion, these disparate people will come together across the fractured world of Aramán and connect in ways they never imagined.
As hope and victory fade, a question hangs over Aramán. Without the Gods, what great deeds now fall to us? And who, or what, shall grab their crown from themselves?”
Cast and guests
Primary cast members returning are Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, Liam O’Brien, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel, and Travis Willingham. Frequent guests joining Campaign 4 include Luis Carazo, Robbie Daymond, Aabria Iyengar, Whitney Moore, and Alex Ward.
Importantly, the campaign will be led by Brennan Lee Mulligan as the game master, rather than Matthew Mercer.
When and where to watch
The premiere is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 2 at 10 p.m. EDT / 7 p.m. PDT. Critical Role will stream weekly on Thursdays on the following platforms:
