Critical Role’s Campaign 4 Trailer Reveals Aramán, Dead Gods, 13‑Player Cast and New GM Brennan Lee Mulligan — Premieres Oct. 2

Critical Role has released the official trailer for Campaign 4, which confirms the new setting, the full cast, the show format, and the release window. The trailer and press details make clear this campaign moves the action to a new world called Aramán, introduces a 13-member adventuring party, and premieres in October.
Trailer and premise
The trailer officially names the campaign world as Aramán and frames the story around a central character, Thjazi Fang, who is “marked for execution.” It also sets up a larger background: the world is living with the consequences of dead gods and the aftermath of a rebellion.
“Hero to many. Enemy to some. When Thjazi Fang is marked for execution, various figures from across his remarkable life unite to uncover the truth behind his grim fate. In a land still suffering from the fallout of dead gods and living in the shadow of a tumultuous rebellion, these disparate people will come together across the fractured world of Aramán and connect in ways they never imagined. As hope and victory fade, a question hangs over Aramán. Without the Gods, what great deeds now fall to us? And who, or what, shall grab their crown for themselves?”
Cast and Game Master
The campaign’s 13-member adventuring party includes Critical Role founders Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, Liam O’Brien, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel, and Travis Willingham. New additions to the main cast are Luis Carazo, Robbie Daymond, Aabria Iyengar, Whitney Moore, and Alex Ward.
Additionally, award-winning storyteller and Game Master Brennan Lee Mulligan will lead Campaign 4 as the GM.
Format and table structure
Campaign 4 will use a rotating-tables format with a West Marches–inspired style of play. The campaign is organized into three distinct tables called the Soldiers, the Seekers, and the Schemers.
Critical Role has not published detailed descriptions of those tables yet, so further specifics about table composition and rotation will be released closer to the premiere or in future updates.
