Don’t Miss These 3 Far Fields Secrets in Hollow Knight: Silksong — Needolin Door, Lost Flea Route & Act 3 Shortcut

The Far Fields region in Hollow Knight: Silksong hides three secret areas that reward exploration with items like a lost flea, the Silkspeed Anklets, and the Rune Harp relic. Below are clear steps for each area, what you need first, and the main rewards you can expect.
- Far Fields secret area #1 – Needolin door
- Far Fields secret area #2 – Path to the Lost Flea
- Far Fields secret area #3 – Act 3
Far Fields secret area #1 – Needolin door
To open this secret door you must first obtain the Needolin. That requires defeating the Widow boss north of Bellhart and completing the “The Threadspun Town” quest. In practice, approach Bellhart from the Greymoor side, move east from the Sister Splinter boss location, and drop down to reach the Widow’s lair.
Once you have the Needolin, travel to the southeastern corner of the Far Fields and use it beside the locked door to open the Weavenest Cindril area. Inside, sprint across the pressure plates to the east to pick up the Silkspeed Anklets. If you then want the secret hatch inside this room, trigger all pressure plates simultaneously; equip the Silkspeed Anklets and the Flea Brew (given after completing “The Lost Fleas” and speaking with Grishkin once he moves to Greymoor) to do it. After the hatch opens, drop down to collect the Rune Harp relic, which can be exchanged for rosaries with Relic Seeker Scrounge in Bellhart.
Far Fields secret area #2 – Path to the Lost Flea
There is a hidden path that connects the Far Fields Bellway station to Pilgrim’s Rest. To reveal it, hit the wall in the lower-right corner of the Bellway station room. The route is tight and requires precise movement.
At minimum you need the Cling Grip (wall jump) to navigate this passage, and the Faydown Cloak plus Clawline Ancestral Arts make it significantly easier. During the route, hit glowing stones to trigger small explosions that open air vents, then use those vents to fly upward while avoiding red thorns. When the passage splits, the lower path returns to the Seamstress’ house; the upper path continues to the Lost Flea and Pilgrim’s Rest. Note that this area contains a single Lost Flea, so some players choose to come back later.
Far Fields secret area #3 – Act 3
This large area in the northeast unlocks after you start Act 3. To reach it, first collect the Silk Soar ability from the bottom of the Abyss region, then make your way through Hunter’s March.
When you reach the statue of the lady in Hunter’s March, use Silk Soar to boost upward from the statue and then proceed to the right to enter the new Far Fields section. In short, Act 3 progression plus the Silk Soar ability are the two concrete requirements for this area.
If you want extra help while exploring, progress the main story where possible: some quests and story beats unlock upgrades that make later encounters and platforming easier. For example, completing “The Threadspun Town” lets you upgrade your needle for higher damage.
