Elden Ring Nightreign Update: Face the Everdark Sovereign Bosses for Exclusive Rewards!

Elden Ring Nightreign just got a whole lot tougher, and if you’re craving a new challenge, this update is for you! The latest patch introduces the Everdark Sovereigns — ultra-hard versions of familiar Nightlord bosses. Ready to test your skills against the best? Here’s what’s changed and why you might want to jump in right now.
- New Everdark Sovereign boss variant: Adel, Baron of the Night (Gaping Jaw)
- Special rewards: Sovereign Sigils for beating the boss
- Time-limited event — only until June 25!
- Online mode only
- More tough bosses coming soon
Everdark Sovereigns: New Boss Challenge
The Everdark Sovereigns are here to spice up your journey in Elden Ring Nightreign. These are not just remixes — they’re harder, stronger, and meaner versions of the bosses you’ve already faced. The first in the rotation is Adel, Baron of the Night, also known as “Gaping Jaw.” To unlock this challenge, you’ll need to have already defeated the regular version of Gaping Jaw. If you haven’t yet, it’s time to get moving!
Special Rewards for the Brave
If you manage to defeat the Everdark Sovereign version of Gaping Jaw, you’ll score a brand-new item: Sovereign Sigils. These can be traded in for special Relics and other cool items. According to Bandai Namco, your first victory against any Everdark Sovereign will give you a bunch of Sigils, but repeat wins will hand out fewer.
Don’t Miss Out — Limited Time Event
Here’s the catch: this boss variant is only available until June 25, 5:59 p.m. PDT / 8:59 p.m. EDT. And, it’s exclusive to online mode — so make sure you’re connected! If you want to show off your skills or grab those exclusive rewards, there’s no time to waste.
More Tough Bosses Coming Soon
The Everdark Sovereign rotation will keep things fresh. Next up: Sentient Pest and Darkdrift Knight will be getting their own souped-up versions in the coming weeks. Bandai Namco has promised even more bosses will join the rotation later, so stay tuned for more brutal fights.
