Release details
Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition will be released as a digital-only title on Nov. 10. This edition packages the base game with previously released paid expansions and a selection of Creation Club content. Bethesda announced the collection during its Fallout Day broadcast.
What is included
The Anniversary Edition bundles the six main DLC packs: Automatron, Far Harbor, Nuka-World, plus all three Workshop expansions. In addition, it includes more than 150 items taken from the Fallout 4 Creation Club, covering new weapons, gameplay tweaks and quest content.
Creations and mod support
According to a press release from Bethesda, some included creations were previously unreleased. Examples listed by Bethesda include new weapons and different Dogmeat breeds like a husky or a Dalmatian. The Anniversary Edition will also add an in-game creations menu so players can browse and install mods.
Creators are already preparing content for launch, and Bethesda has highlighted that Creation Club additions can range from small tweaks to large projects — for instance, recreating areas like parts of the New Vegas Mojave or building escape rooms.
Switch 2 and platform notes
Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition will appear on Nintendo Switch 2 sometime in 2026. This will mark the first time a mainline Fallout title is released on a Nintendo console; prior Nintendo appearances included Fallout Shelter and the Fallout Pinball table for Wii U.
Timing and related releases
With the Anniversary Edition arriving on Nov. 10, players will have time to explore the expanded content before other Fallout schedule items. For example, the Burning Springs expansion for Fallout 76 is planned for release in December.
