How the lottery works
The FFXIV housing lottery runs in alternating entry and results periods. You must place a bid during an entry period, and if you win you have to finalize the purchase during the following results period.
Importantly, if you do not claim a won plot during the results period, you forfeit the plot and lose 50% of your deposit, so don’t miss the window.

Below is the schedule for September 2025. Period boundaries shift at server reset times (listed further down), so plan around those times if you’re near a reset or when maintenance might happen.
- Aug. 31 until Sept. 4: Results period
- Sept. 4–9: Entry period
- Sept. 9–13: Results period
- Sept. 13–18: Entry period
- Sept. 18–22: Results period
- Sept. 22–27: Entry period
- Sept. 27 until Oct. 1: Results period
Server reset times (when periods change)
The lottery periods switch at server reset. Below are the reset times you should use to know exactly when an entry or results window starts and ends.
- 8 a.m. PDT — west coast North America
- 11 a.m. EDT — east coast North America
- 12 p.m. BRT — Brazil
- 4 p.m. BST — U.K.
- 5 p.m. CEST — western Europe
- The following day at 12 a.m. JST — Japan
- The following day at 1 a.m. AEST — east coast Australia
