FKA Twigs Sings in Simlish for The Sims 4

Electronic Arts continues to promote The Sims 4’s newest expansion, Enchanted by Nature, with some creative marketing. The latest promo is a unique music video where FKA Twigs sings her song “Perfect Stranger” entirely in Simlish. This isn’t just a simple recording; the video was made in-game, featuring a Sim version of the artist brought to life by popular Sims 4 content creator SolitaSims.

SolitaSims is well known for posting beautifully posed screenshots and choreographed Sims videos, which have gathered thousands of fans. Their work helped bring the Simlish FKA Twigs to life, perfectly syncing the song and visuals in The Sims 4 world.

A Long Tradition of Simlish Covers

This isn’t the first time EA has roped in popular musicians to record in Simlish. Back in 2004, The Urbz: Sims in the City featured a Simlish version of the Black Eyed Peas’ hit “Let’s Get It Started.” The group even appeared as Sims NPCs in the game, making the collaboration especially memorable. You can check out their Simlish version here:

Later, in 2012, Katy Perry recorded a Simlish version of “Last Friday Night” for The Sims 3’s Sweet Treats Stuff Pack soundtrack. These collaborations have become a fun and quirky tradition within the franchise, bringing real-world artists into the Sims universe in a playful way.

SolitaSims Shares the Spotlight

While FKA Twigs hasn’t made a public statement about the project yet, SolitaSims took to social media to express their excitement and encourage other creators to share their work. They said on X (formerly Twitter):

“Who would’ve thought this little psychopathic Sim i’d play for fun would eventually become immortalized in the Sims franchise. If this isn’t your sign to just post the content, idk what is.”

Clearly, this collaboration is a great example of how The Sims community and official creators can come together to make something unique and entertaining. It also shows how The Sims 4 continues to innovate and engage fans with fresh, creative content.
