Fortnite x The Simpsons: Springfield Could Take Over the Island — Bart’s Treehouse and Kang & Kodos Spotted

What we see so far

Players logging into Fortnite right now can spot a small tree sprig growing at the top-left of the Creepy Camps site. *Importantly*, dataminers and leakers have pointed to that sprig as an early hint that Bart Simpson’s treehouse is coming to the island. In short, the evidence so far is visual and asset-based rather than an official Epic announcement.

Map changes and the treehouse

According to leaks, the tree sprig is only the beginning. Moreover, multiple sources suggest Epic may transform large portions of the map into a cel-shaded version of Springfield — complete with Moe’s Tavern, the power plant where Homer works, and other familiar locations. If this is accurate, then the event would go beyond skins into a full island aesthetic change.

Additionally, the reported treehouse will reportedly include a TV set that broadcasts teasers for the mini-season. Fortnite often uses in-game TVs and broadcasts to deliver event information and quests, so this would fit Epic’s usual approach.

In-game encounters

Leaks also show a potential rare encounter: The Simpsons’ aliens, Kang and Kodos, might appear during matches. However, sources say the aliens would likely be non-interactive and only briefly phase into the map before disappearing. Therefore, this looks like a cameo or atmospheric element rather than a gameplay mechanic players can fully interact with.

Skins and cosmetics

Leaked assets indicate several major Simpsons characters could be available as skins — for example, Ned Flanders, Moe, and Krusty the Clown. Likewise, Fortnite originals may receive Simpsons-style visual treatments; for instance, Peely has been shown in a cartoonish yellow style to match Matt Groening’s aesthetic. These items are proposed to appear either in the battle pass or the item shop.

Timing and rollout

Finally, the mini-season is rumored to begin in early November. Epic has not yet confirmed the date or the full scope of the event, so for now these are *leaks and datamine finds* rather than official details. Expect the rollout to ramp up with more visible changes in the days before launch.
