Fortnite’s K‑Pop Takeover: Play Demon Rush with HUNTR/X, Grab Rumi, Mira & Zoey Skins — Plus Lego Minifigs on Oct. 2

Fortnite’s crossover with Netflix’s K-pop film HUNTR/X is now fully detailed: starting Oct. 2, Rumi, Mira, and Zoey join the battle royale for a limited-time event called Demon Rush, plus new cosmetics, quests, and Lego minifigures arrive alongside it.
Overview
Epic Games revealed more about the KPop Demon Hunters crossover after first announcing it earlier this week. In short, characters from Netflix’s HUNTR/X — Rumi, Mira, and Zoey — are playable through event content in Fortnite, with film-inspired gear and gameplay elements included. The collaboration ties directly into Fortnite’s PvE-style modes, and also adds cosmetic drops and in-game quests.
Demon Rush mode
The centerpiece is Demon Rush, a limited-time spin on Fortnite’s Horde Rush mode. Players will face waves of demons across repeated Survival Phases. Between phases, you’ll pick up film-inspired perks to help you last longer.
Notable items in the mode include Rumi’s Empowered Sword and Zoey’s Golden Bubble Shield, which are designed for melee-focused combat. The mode emphasizes close-quarters fighting, so expect encounters to be fast and hectic.
Shop items and quests
Alongside Demon Rush, Epic is adding KPop Demon Hunters outfits, accessories, and emotes to the Fortnite Shop. Moreover, you can complete quests handed out by the HUNTR/X singers to earn additional items. For example, one cosmetic reward called Mira’s X-tra Spicy Ramyeon is available through those quests.
Lego and creators
Outside the game, Lego versions of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey will be available as minifigures. Meanwhile, Fortnite creators get access to film-inspired assets, signature gameplay items, and demon enemies so they can build or remix islands with melee-focused gameplay.
Dates and availability
The Demon Rush mode begins on Oct. 2 and runs through Nov. 1. Cosmetics and quests go live with the event, and creators can start using the new assets on Oct. 2 as well. Finally, the collaboration is timed for spooky season, and Epic hints HUNTR/X may appear in future projects like a sequel or prequel.
