Found! Every Fortnite birthday cake location — eat 8 slices at one cake to finish the quest
Fortnite is celebrating its eighth birthday, and Epic has scattered large birthday cakes around Chapter 6 Season 4’s island. Enjoy your Slurp juice-flavored cake: each full cake has eight slices, and you can eat slices or emote by a cake to complete related quests.

Birthday cake map
We located 10 full birthday cakes around the island. Each cake is surrounded by eight slices, so if you reach a full cake quickly, you can eat all eight slices at once and finish the eating quest there. The cakes are not marked on the map, and while they appear near named places, they aren’t at every named location and sometimes show up at unnamed spots.
Supernova Academy birthday cake
The Supernova Academy cake sits in the southwestern corner of the central area. Specifically, the cake is in a pit to the west of the academy’s central circle. It’s easy to miss, so check the low ground.
Smash N’ Grab Jewelry Store birthday cake
You can find a cake inside the Smash N’ Grab Jewelry Store. This shop is located to the east of Supernova Academy. In short, enter the store and look for the cake inside.
O.X.R. HQ birthday cake
The O.X.R. HQ cake is placed in the northeastern corner of the site. It’s visible from nearby rooftops, so you can spot it before you drop in.
Burd gas station birthday cake
North of Foxy Floodgate there is a Burd gas station. The birthday cake is on the west side of the station. Therefore, check around the pumps and adjacent pavement.
Outlaw Oasis birthday cake
On the northern edge of Outlaw Oasis you’ll find a sandy patch with a cake. So, land on the north side and scan the dunes for the decoration.
Foxy Floodgate birthday cake
There’s a cake on the lower section of Foxy Floodgate. Look toward the northern tip of that lower area and you’ll spot it.
Dystopia City birthday cake
In Dystopia City, a cake sits on a grassy patch in the northwestern corner. It’s on open ground, so it’s easy to approach if the area isn’t contested.
Tennis court birthday cake (northwest of Kappa Kappa Factory)
Northwest of Kappa Kappa Factory there are several tennis courts. The cake is on the southwestern court of that cluster. Thus, check the courts if you’re nearby.
Canyon Crossing birthday cake
Toward the south side of Canyon Crossing, a cake sits between two buildings. In short, look in the small gap or alley between those structures.
Demon’s Debris birthday cake
In the southwestern corner of Demon’s Debris you will find another cake. It’s tucked near the corner, so sweep that area when searching.
Individual birthday cake slice spots
If you only need a couple of slices rather than a full cake, there are small groups of slices in a few places. These spots each have two cake slices, so they help you progress the eating quest quickly.
- Camp site northeast of the Resistance Base
- Island south of the First Order Base
- Cliff southwest of Shiny Shafts
Note: emoting beside these small slice groups will not complete the emote-by-a-cake quest. Instead, those slices only count toward the eating quest.
