If you want an Eevee early in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you can grab one soon after the opening tutorial. This guide lists the exact rooftop spot, when it appears, and a few practical tips to increase your capture odds.
Eevee location in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
After the tutorial, head to Wild Zone 1, which sits between Hotel Z and the Pokémon Research Lab. From that area, move left into the Bleu Sector. You’ll find a pond and the Nouveau Café truck; the truck becomes a fast-travel point once you reach it. Facing the truck, take the scaffolding on the left and do a short bit of platforming to get up onto the rooftops. There, during daytime, an Eevee commonly appears on the rooftop.
How to catch Eevee early
The Eevee you’re likely to find at that spot is around level 16. Therefore, it may be stronger than very early party members. To improve your chances, crouch and sneak up on Eevee and throw a Poké Ball at its back; this increases capture odds. If you accidentally trigger a battle, try to capture Eevee before it faints. While Pokémon sometimes linger briefly after hitting zero HP, catching them in that window is not guaranteed, and if the ball fails the Eevee will run away instantly. If Eevee runs or faints, it will eventually respawn at this rooftop, but the respawn timing is uncertain and may take a while.
Later locations and notes
More Eevee can be found later in Wild Zone 19, but that requires higher rank and more progress. Also, the rooftop Eevee appears to show up only during daytime. Finally, the coffee stand near the early location (the Nouveau Café truck) doubles as a convenient fast-travel point and a nice place to take photos with your new Eevee.
