How to get Mystery Gifts
First, play the game for roughly an hour so the Link Play options appear. After that, follow these steps to claim gifts over the internet:
- Press X to open the menu.
- Select Link Play.
- Select Mystery Gift.
- Select Get via Internet.
- Choose the Mystery Gift you want and follow any on-screen prompts to receive it.
Redeeming codes (serial/password)
If your Mystery Gift requires a serial code or password, the flow is almost the same, but pick the code option:
- Open the menu with X.
- Go to Link Play > Mystery Gift.

- Digital purchasers receive a serial code for 100 Poké Balls; that code is valid until March 10, 2026.
- Anyone who buys the Mega Dimension DLC by February 28, 2026 will get a serial code for the Luxurious Poké Ball Set; that code is also valid until March 10, 2026.
