What to expect from Hades 2 1.0
Hades 2 is the first sequel from Supergiant and it follows the same core structure as the original: an action roguelike played from an isometric view. During runs you gain temporary powers from Olympian deities, combine them with different weapons, and experiment with builds.
Additionally, after more than a year in early access the game has expanded systems. In 1.0 you should expect more upgrade trees, more resource types, more abilities, more biomes, and more enemies compared to earlier builds. However, Supergiant has not published a complete list of all changes in the 1.0 patch.
The main goal in the game remains the same: you are fighting to defeat Chronos, the Titan of Time. For a glimpse of 1.0 gameplay, Supergiant shared a launch trailer.
Finally, the 1.0 release is available on the listed platforms at the times above. If you played during early access, the release is largely a continuation with added content; otherwise, it’s the full launch version you’ve been waiting for.
