Unseen Update: What’s New?

The Unseen Update is all about making the core gameplay even better. According to Supergiant’s blog, you can now unlock totally new fighting styles for every main weapon. That means more ways to experiment and crush your enemies!

You’ll also find new Guardian encounters—each with their own surprises—and even more story events that let you build stronger relationships with the game’s characters. Plus, there are Godsent Hexes to try out, which upgrade your Moon magic with the help of the Olympians.

What’s Next for Hades 2?

Supergiant says that with the Unseen Update live, their main focus is now on wrapping up the game. They’re working on a complete ending and achievements. But don’t expect any more huge updates—no new regions, encounters, or abilities are planned before the full release. Only bug fixes will be coming until launch.

There’s still no official date for the 1.0 launch, but the devs are as hyped as the fans. As they put it: “We have a big game to wrap up! While we can’t yet say when our v1.0 launch will be, we’re very excited to be getting close, and to share the complete experience with you.”

When Hades 2 does finally launch, it’ll be a timed console exclusive for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. For now, early access is available on Windows PC.
