Hades Is Back on Game Pass — Modern Warfare 3, Frostpunk 2 & More Join Late-September Drop
Microsoft has announced the second half of September’s Xbox Game Pass additions, and the list includes a few big names returning and several new arrivals. Key highlights include Hades coming back to Game Pass and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 joining Game Pass Standard, plus a range of other titles across Cloud, PC and console.

Hades returns to Game Pass in mid-September. According to the schedule below, Hades is listed for Sept. 19 on Cloud, Console and PC and will be available across Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Standard. The timing lines up with the five-year anniversary of Hades’ 1.0 launch, and it arrives shortly before the full release of Hades 2.
Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (the 2023 reboot) is coming to Game Pass Standard on Sept. 17. The game closes out the rebooted Modern Warfare trilogy and includes a Zombies mode.
