Hell’s Paradise Season 2 Trailer Drops — New Cast Revealed and Deadlier Battles Await

MAPPA has released a new trailer for Hell’s Paradise season 2, and the studio confirmed the series will return in January 2026 with a simulcast on Crunchyroll. The trailer focuses on the island of Shinsenkyo, the search for the Elixir of Immortality, and upcoming battles — while also announcing several new cast additions.

The new trailer opens with a trip to Shinsenkyo, an island described as straddling the line between paradise and hell. It highlights the island’s connection to the legendary Elixir of Immortality, and it clearly shows increased danger: more death, more chaos, and no allies in sight. The Tensen — a team of legendary figures with supernatural abilities — appear in the footage, along with various deadly monsters that are also seeking the elixir.

New cast revealed
The trailer also announces new voice actors joining the show. The confirmed additions are:
- Ryota Suzuki as Shugen (credited from Dr. STONE as Ryusei).
- Koji Yusa as Jikka (known for Blue Exorcist’s Renzo).
- Maaya Uchida as Kiyomaru (credited from Grand Blue Dreaming’s Nanaka).
- Sayaka Ohara as Isuzu (known for Fairy Tail’s Erza).

Premise
The anime adapts the original Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku manga. Its protagonist, Gabimaru, was once the strongest ninja but abandoned his clan and was sentenced to death. Despite repeated execution attempts, his survival draws the attention of executioner Sagiri Asaemon, who offers Gabimaru a chance at freedom: retrieve the Elixir of Immortality from Shinsenkyo. The first season of the anime premiered in April 2023.
