Ready for some wild sci-fi action and twisted humor? High on Life, the Rick and Morty-inspired shooter, is making a comeback to Xbox Game Pass this July! If you missed it the first time, now’s your chance to jump into this bizarre world where talking guns are your best friends and the jokes never stop.
- High on Life returns to Xbox Game Pass July 15
- Created by Justin Roiland (Rick and Morty)
- New and classic games also coming to the service
- Some games leaving soon—don’t miss out!
High on Life is back on Game Pass
High on Life lands on Game Pass again from July 15, available for Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard subscribers. This offbeat shooter is the brainchild of Justin Roiland, so if you’re a fan of Rick and Morty, you’ll feel right at home with its art style and sense of humor. While the game and cartoon aren’t directly linked, the DNA is obvious—expect plenty of irreverent jokes and wacky dialogue.
What’s the game about?
You play as a bounty hunter teaming up with a cast of hilarious talking guns. Your mission? Stop an alien cartel from turning humans into drugs. Sounds weird? It is—and that’s exactly why it’s worth a try. High on Life first launched in December 2022 for Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch version coming in May 2025.
