Allied society quests in FFXIV, explained
Allied society quests (formerly called beast tribe or tribal quests) are daily quests that grant reputation and special currency with a tribe. You can accept up to 12 allied society quests per day, and each tribe normally gives up to three quests daily. However, when you increase your rank with a tribe, that tribe will offer up to three additional quests.
Most quests are straightforward: accept the assignment, talk to an NPC, and then fight enemies, craft an item, gather materials, or ride to a location. Some older tribes require completing specific FATEs for combat quests, and Ixali crafting quests require wearing the specified Ehcatl Wristgloves while crafting. Once you reach bloodsworn rank with all tribes in an expansion, you unlock that expansion’s combined intersocietal quests — except for Shadowbringers, which has no allied society intersocietal quests.
