Huge Game Pass Drop Late August: Gears of War Reloaded Day One, Persona 4 Golden, Dragon Age: The Veilguard and More
Microsoft has shared which games are joining Game Pass in the second half of August 2025, and several notable titles are arriving across cloud, console, and PC platforms. Microsoft has shared the full list and release dates.

Quick highlights
First, Gears of War: Reloaded arrives on August 26 and will be available day one on Game Pass. The release updates the 2015 Ultimate Edition with 4K resolution and 60 fps for the campaign, and up to 120 fps in multiplayer. It also includes all previously released DLC.
Next, Persona 4 Golden lands on Game Pass on August 20 for cloud, console, and PC. The original Persona 4 released in 2008; Golden is an enhanced port and was previously released on Xbox in 2023.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Finally, Dragon Age: The Veilguard will join Game Pass on August 28 (cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X). The game had disappointing sales after a troubled development cycle, which was detailed in reporting at Bloomberg. Context
