Huge PS Plus Drop: Psychonauts 2, Stardew Valley and Viewfinder Free to Claim Sept. 2 — Add Before Oct. 6

Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Essential games for September 2025: Psychonauts 2, Stardew Valley, and Viewfinder will be free to download for subscribers starting next month.

September lineup — the facts
Psychonauts 2 is included and is a platforming adventure developed by Double Fine that originally released in 2021. It is offered on PlayStation 4.
Stardew Valley, created by solo developer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone, is listed as a farming-focused role-playing game first released in 2016. It is available on PlayStation 4.
Viewfinder is a first-person puzzle game released in 2023 that lets players place photographs to alter level geometry. It is available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
When and how to download
The three games will be free to claim beginning Sept. 2, 2025, and they will remain free to add to your library until Oct. 6, 2025. If you’re a subscriber, add them during that window to keep them.

Meanwhile, PlayStation Plus subscribers can still claim August 2025’s Essential titles — Lies of P, DayZ, and My Hero One’s Justice 2 — through Sept. 1, 2025.

Pricing is as follows: $79.99 per year, $24.99 for three months, or $9.99 per month. These are the standard rates for the Essential tier.
