Who’s playing Mojo
John Leguizamo, known for roles in Ice Age, Encanto, and John Wick, will provide the voice of Mojo. Twisted Pixel confirmed the casting during the Gamescom presentation.
Premise straight from the game
The official description lays out the setup clearly. It says: “The merc with a mouth just signed a brand new contract with Mojo, the biggest name in intergalactic streaming,” and then adds, “There’s just one problem: he didn’t read the fine print. Because come on, who does that? Now, he’s off to “recruit” (aka kidnap) some of the toughest villains in the Marvel Universe.”
Villains and weaponry
The game will put Deadpool up against known Marvel foes including Lady Deathstrike, Mephisto, Omega Red, and Ultimo. In addition, the trailer and description show a mix of silly and serious gear. For example, Deadpool swings a Mojo-ified version of Thor’s hammer called Mojo-nir. There are also rocket launchers, a sniper rifle that can fire tiny humans as well as bullets, and dual blades. The official text emphasizes the absurdity and action: “Experience all this in a way only Deadpool can,” and continues, “Ever dreamed of destroying a helicopter with a jeep? How about using your own amputated limbs as a weapon? Strap on those swords, load your guns, pack your grenades and take Deadpool for a wild ride through the Marvel Universe.”
Platforms and release date
Deadpool VR will launch for Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S on Nov. 18. Twisted Pixel is the developer shown during Opening Night Live, and that is the confirmed target hardware and date announced at Gamescom 2025.
