Plot summary
Laura Blacklock, a working journalist, accepts an invitation to cover a gala on a large private yacht organized by a wealthy couple for a cancer research charity. While aboard, she encounters other passengers and spots an occupant in the cabin next to hers. One night, she hears a scuffle, a scream, and a splash. Laura concludes a woman has fallen or been pushed overboard.
However, other passengers insist that Cabin 10 was unoccupied and that no one remembers the woman Laura describes. The yacht’s guest list includes an influencer, a rock star, a curator, and a photographer who is also Laura’s ex. Laura pursues answers while the other passengers question her account.
