KPop Demon Hunters’ Huntr/x Make Live TV Debut on SNL — Sing “Takedown” and “Golden” During Bad Bunny Sketch

Huntr/x, the fictional K-pop girl group from Sony Animation’s film KPop Demon Hunters, made their live singing debut on Saturday Night Live during the Season 51 premiere. The group’s singing voices — credited to Ejae (Rumi), Audrey Nuna (Mira), and Rei Ami (Zoey) — performed together on the show for the first time.
Saturday Night Live debut
On the Season 51 premiere, Huntr/x’s voices appeared during a sketch that featured Bad Bunny alongside Chloe Fineman, Mikey Day, and Sarah Sherman. The sketch is built around a brunch scene in which the group of friends talk while one character repeatedly brings up the film and its music.
During the sketch, Bad Bunny’s character says, “Actually, it’s not cool, dog. KPop Demon Hunters’ songs aren’t just songs, they are weapons,” and the group’s singing voices then perform briefly on the show.

Who performed
The singing voices for Huntr/x on the show were Ejae (credited as Rumi), Audrey Nuna (credited as Mira), and Rei Ami (credited as Zoey). This SNL appearance marked the first time those three vocalists performed together live as Huntr/x on television.
What they sang
On SNL the vocalists performed short live renditions of the film’s songs “Takedown” and “Golden”. The performance was limited in length, and the songs appeared within the sketch rather than as a full musical guest set.
