Lucas Lee and Roxie Richter Become Playable in Scott Pilgrim EX — Skateboards, Swords and Smoke Bombs Hit in 2026

Tribute Games has revealed that two former bosses from the Scott Pilgrim universe will be playable in the upcoming retro beat-’em-up Scott Pilgrim EX. The developer confirmed that Lucas Lee and Roxie Richter join Scott Pilgrim and Ramona Flowers in the roster, and the game is planned for early 2026 on multiple platforms.

New playable ex-Evil Exes

Tribute Games formally announced Lucas Lee and Roxie Richter as playable characters for Scott Pilgrim EX. Both originally appeared as bosses in the 2010 title Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, and they return with distinct move sets and visual updates.

Lucas Lee

According to Tribute Games, Lucas brings “grappling prowess and a fully-weaponized skateboard (meaning he hits people with it).” In addition, he can reportedly use his charisma to stun enemies, giving him a mix of reach and control in combat.

Roxie Richter

Roxie is described as a fast, sword-wielding fighter: “dicing into the fray as a quick-hitting, speedy half-ninja, with a kit complete with smoke bombs and moves that turn her into a blender on the battlefield,” Tribute says. She looks to offer high-speed combos and mobility for players who prefer agile characters.

Game setting and roster

Scott Pilgrim EX is set in a stylized, video game-warped version of Toronto. In this city, three rival gangs—the Vegans, Robots, and Demons—have taken control of different areas, and Scott, Ramona, their former lovers, and other characters must push back and discover the source of the chaos.

Tribute Games has promised a total of seven playable fighters in Scott Pilgrim EX. So far, Scott, Ramona, Lucas Lee, and Roxie Richter are confirmed; more roster details are expected before launch.

Release and platforms

Scott Pilgrim EX is scheduled for release in early 2026. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC via Steam, and Xbox Series X.
