Season 4 returns

The fourth season of Make Some Noise premieres on Dropout on Oct. 13. In total, the season will include 15 episodes, and Dropout plans to release them every other week. This schedule means episodes will arrive on a biweekly cadence rather than weekly.

Cast and guests

Brennan Lee Mulligan, Zac Oyama, and Josh Ruben return as the core trio from the show’s Noise Boys roots. Additionally, Dropout regulars such as Anna Garcia, Lisa Gilroy, and Jacob Wysocki are set to appear. Ben Schwartz is also listed among the guests for the season.

New challenges and prompts

The show’s press release promises “new challenges, new surprises, and the same amount of absolute chaos.” One named new segment is a Kid Round, which uses prompts allegedly written by children. For example, a child’s hand-written prompt asks SNL’s Jeremy Culhane for dramatic barfing; you can see that mention on SNL’s Jeremy Culhane.

Also, the trailer includes a prompt that says “Gangster Drew Carey,” which directly references the show’s comparison to Whose Line Is It Anyway?. There is no confirmation yet about which past Whose Line performers might return as guests.

The trailer shows a range of improvised bits, and it highlights the return of the regular cast alongside several guest appearances.

Origin and schedule

Make Some Noise originally spun off from the Noise Boys episodes of Game Changer. Meanwhile, Dropout also launched the Game Changer spinoff Crowd Control in September, which arrived shortly before this Make Some Noise season announcement. Season 4’s biweekly release will span several months given the 15-episode order.
