March Leak Claims 26 Mega Evolutions for Pokémon Legends: Z-A — Several Match Official Reveals

Pokémon Legends: Z-A may still be weeks away, but a lengthy list of alleged mega evolutions appeared online in March and has resurfaced across social sites. A 4chan poster shared detailed descriptions for dozens of megas, and some of those descriptions match official reveals that have come out since then. The original 4chan thread no longer links directly, but reposts of the materials remain visible on other platforms.
- The leak originated on 4chan in March and lists roughly 26 mega evolutions.
- Reposts of the leak appear on social sites such as this Reddit post.
- Some of the leak’s descriptions match official reveals so far, and a sample of the leaked descriptions is available below.

Where the leak came from and how it lines up with official reveals
The list first appeared on 4chan in March and included descriptions for a large number of mega evolutions. Since then, The Pokémon Company has officially unveiled three megas that are also on the leaked list. Furthermore, images and design details shared publicly for those reveals match the descriptions posted by the leaker.
Because the original 4chan thread is ephemeral, observers have pointed to reposts on other sites as the surviving evidence. In addition, the leaker provided unusually specific visual notes for several individual megas, which has led some readers to treat the list as potentially credible.
Sample leaked descriptions
Below are several of the leak excerpts that have circulated online. We are not publishing the full list, but these entries were included in the reposts and show the style and level of detail the leaker supplied.
- Mega Clefable: becomes Fairy/Flying. It has a pom-pom beret shape that starts pink and becomes white towards the top; the pom-pom is like a curly cue. It has enormous wings that stretch out behind it and to the sides, which are very simple, with a gradient from pink at the top to yellow-green at the bottom.
- Mega Greninja: hangs upside down from a huge shuriken, its color becomes darker.
- Mega Feraligatr: gains a giant red crocodile head extension at the base of its neck that can rise upright, then snap or swing downward to shield its actual head. It develops three red spikes on each arm and larger spikes along its back.
- Mega Delphox: stands on her broom and hovers.
- Mega Emboar: resembles an ancient Chinese soldier. The flames around its head are much larger and more elaborate, with a black ornamental decoration extending upward behind its head. It holds a spear entirely made of fire, pointed vertically.
- Mega Chesnaught: wears a crown, gaining additionally some orange elements and shields.
- Mega Chandelure: is a much fancier, two-tier chandelier. Instead of having two light holders coming out from the sides of the curly shapes, a single huge (tall) light comes out from the front of each of the 4–5 curly shapes on the top level of the chandelier. The bottom level has 8 spokes with smaller lights. The light at the top of its head has a decorative crown shape surrounding it.
- Mega Zygarde: looks most like Zygarde Complete, but below the Zygarde Complete black armor surrounding the head and neck, it becomes unarmored, revealing a completely green body with white hexagon patterns. There are black and white hexagon plates on the knees.
Scope and context
The reposted list reportedly contains about 26 mega inclusions. In addition, the remainder of the list mixes popular starters and less-expected picks. Because major Pokémon releases have leaked early in the past, and because Game Freak has experienced security incidents before, some observers consider this leak plausible.
However, the full list has not been officially published by The Pokémon Company. For now, the leaked material remains an unofficial source until the game releases or the publisher confirms more megas.

What to expect next
We’ll find out whether the leak is fully accurate when Pokémon Legends: Z-A launches or when The Pokémon Company reveals additional megas. Until then, the reposts on sites like Reddit provide the surviving copies of the leak for anyone who wants to compare descriptions to official announcements.
