Getting Started with Executor’s Remembrance Quest

To kick off Executor’s Remembrance, you need to unlock the second chapter of Executor’s journal. This happens by completing a few expeditions playing as Executor—usually two or three runs will do it. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose, just stick it out until the expedition ends (whether solo or multiplayer).

Once Chapter 2 unlocks, check the journal for the “begin Remembrance” button. Clicking it locks you into the first quest of the chain, but you can pause and come back anytime without penalty. Just remember that if your quest requires expedition objectives, you have to complete those with Executor specifically. If you’re teaming up with others doing their own Remembrance quests, your objectives might not always show on the map, so consider solo or full party runs to keep things clear.

Chapter 2: Pick Flowers in Limveld

Your first task is to chat with the Guardian near a painting in the Journal room, then exhaust all dialogue with the Priestess (aka Duchess). If you get lost, the Roundtable Hold map will show their locations marked with exclamation points.

After talking to the Priestess, you’ll get a personal objective: Find flowers in Limveld. When you start your next expedition, look for a red quest icon on the map pointing to a patch of glowing Blessed Flowers. But beware—you’ll have to defeat the Stray Bloodhound Knight guarding them first. This fight is manageable early on but focus on perfecting your parries or tackle it on the second day of the expedition.

Once you beat the boss, pick the flowers and finish the expedition properly. Quitting early means you’ll have to repeat the objective. Back at Roundtable Hold, talk to the Priestess again, then give the Blessed Flowers to the Iron Menial nearby. After chatting with him, interact with the canvas close by for a short cutscene to wrap up this chapter.

Completing this grants you the Blessed Flowers relic, which boosts Executor’s dexterity and adds lifesteal when you unlock the cursed sword during active Character skill.

Chapter 6: Find the Golden Sprout

Once you’ve done more expeditions and collected memory fragments, Chapter 6 opens up. Like before, start by exhausting the Priestess’s dialogue to unlock your next objective: Find a golden sprout in Limveld.

This time, you’ll need the “Shifting Earth: Mountain” event active, which you can toggle by playing expeditions or resting in your Roundtable Hold bed. When the event is live, your map will show two marked spots. The light red marker is your main target—it leads to a golden tree guarded by an Erdtree Avatar, a familiar foe for Elden Ring veterans. Defeating this enemy is straightforward, especially if you arrive on day two.

After victory, interact with the tree to collect the Golden Sprout, then complete the expedition (win or fail) to move on.

Final Objective: Defeat Executor’s Cry

Back at the Roundtable Hold, talk to the Priestess again to trigger the final challenge. After some cutscenes, you face Executor’s Cry—a perfect clone of Executor with the same moves and parry skills.

This boss fight is unique because you must parry his attacks to land damage. He often uses a five-hit combo, so practice your timing to parry each strike and immediately counter with your weapon art. Fighting him normally won’t work; he’ll parry you right back.

Defeating Executor’s Cry unlocks more lore and cutscenes. When you return to the Roundtable, talk to the Priestess one last time, then conclude the Remembrance quest by interacting with the glowing strand.

You’ll be rewarded with Executor’s Remembrance Outfit and the powerful Golden Sprout Relic, which offers:

  • HP restoration while Executor’s Art is active
  • HP recovery from successful guarding
  • Slow HP regeneration for you and nearby allies when health is low
