Max Mondays Are Back — Catch Dynamax Abra, Chansey & Beldum in Pokémon Go This September (Duraludon Teased)
Niantic has published the Max Monday lineup and Max Battle details for September 2025 in Pokémon Go. Below you’ll find which Pokémon will appear in power spots on Mondays, plus what to expect for Max-related events later this month.
Pokémon Go Max Monday line up for September 2025
Max Mondays return in September with one Pokémon appearing more frequently in power spots each Monday from 6–7 p.m. local time. These hour-long appearances work similarly to raid hour, so they’re a good chance to pick up Dynamax encounters.
Below are the weekly Max Monday Pokémon for September. Shiny versions are available for each listed Pokémon.
- Sept. 1: Pidove
- Sept. 8: Trubbish
- Sept. 15: Abra
- Sept. 22: Chansey
- Sept. 29: Beldum
Pokémon Go Max Battle events for September 2025
Niantic’s calendar does not list any Gigantamax Raid Days or dedicated Max Battle Days for September 2025. However, players should note a season event starting on Sept. 30 called the Steel Skyline event.
According to season trailers, that event is a likely place to see Duraludon and Dynamax Duraludon make an appearance. Also, if you’re new to Max Battles, the “To the Max!” Special Research quest starts you off with a Dynamax Wooloo.
That said, only Dynamax Pokémon can join Max Battles. Therefore, you’ll want a healthy roster of Dynamax Pokémon if you plan to participate regularly. Additionally, Max Mondays remain a convenient weekly window to collect more Dynamax encounters and expand your team.
