MTG Reprints $25 Staple Parallel Lives with Iconic Spider‑Man Art — Peter and Miles Team Up
Wizards of the Coast is reprinting several Magic: The Gathering cards with Spider-Man-themed art as part of its upcoming Marvel crossover set, and three of those special “Bonus Sheet” full-art cards were shown during PAX West. The cards pair classic Magic effects with art pulled from Spider-Man comics, and the set is scheduled to release on Sept. 26.

Parallel Lives
Parallel Lives is being reprinted with cover art taken from the 2012 comic Spider-Men #2. The art credits go to Jim Cheung and Justin Ponsor, and it depicts both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as Spider-Man combined into a single image.
Functionally, Parallel Lives is a card that doubles tokens you create. Originally printed in the 2011 Innistrad set, it has been reprinted only a few times since then. On the secondary market, single-card prices for this printing have been around $25.
Nine Lives
Nine Lives appears as a full-art variant in the Spider-Man bonus sheet series. The artwork used is by Russell Dauterman and first appeared on the cover of the 2020 Black Cat #1 comic.
As of recent resale listings, Nine Lives sells for about $0.43 as a typical single, although full-art or specialty prints can vary in price.
Ponder
Ponder is included as another full-art bonus card. This variant uses art by Jean Giraud, better known as Moebius, originally published in Amazing Spider-Man #800 (2018).
Mechanically, Ponder is a widely used blue sorcery in Magic. It has been reprinted multiple times in the past, and typical single-card resale prices are roughly $2.
Release details
The Spider-Man crossover set from Wizards of the Coast is scheduled to release on September 26. A series of Bonus Sheet full-art cards, including the three cards listed above, was shown at a press event and during PAX West.
