  • New on the map: Echo Log descriptions and coordinate notes (Sept. 19).
  • How to use it: filters, spoilers warning and what to expect next.

Interactive map: what it covers

Borderlands 4’s Kairos is a proper open world for the series, so the map needs to cover a lot of ground. Consequently, the interactive map lists mission locations, vendors, and story and side-content markers across every region.

It specifically highlights services you’ll want when exploring: respec stations and banks appear near fast travel points, while SDU-related collectibles like Dead Bolts and Electi Safes are pinned so you can plan runs. The map is an ongoing project and will continue to receive updates.

Key points of interest

Below are the main categories the map marks, with quick notes so you know what each icon means.

  • Abandoned Auger Mine — locations of Auger mines and related encounters.
  • Vault Entrance — where vault runs and major bosses spawn.
  • Evocarium — puzzle/arena sites tied to SDU rewards.
  • Dead Bolt — collectible rooms that grant SDU tokens.
  • Fast Travel Station — also where respec and some vendors are found.
  • Bank Of Kairos — deposit and some mission-related NPCs.

Where to find collectibles and services

The map places Echo Logs, Vault Fragments, Red Chests and Survivalist Caches on the map so you can target completion runs. It also marks world events and faction towns, which helps if you’re farming specific enemies or vendors.

For convenience, respec machines and many bank terminals are located at fast travel stations. Therefore, if you’re low on Eridium or need to retool a Specialization, check nearby fast travel points first.

How to use the map

Open the interactive map and use filters to show only the categories you want, like vaults or collectibles. Filters make it easy to plan routes: for example, target a cluster of Dead Bolts and Electi Safes in one run.
