Season 2 clips and context

At the New York Comic Con panel, Prime Video showed two season 2 clips that continue rivalries set up in season 1. The panel page with schedule information is available on the convention site.

Season 1 established several conflicts: Lucifer Morningstar and the radio demon Alastor both court Charlie, while Charlie’s girlfriend Vaggie has a fraught history with the angel Lute. In addition, Alastor and the TV demon Vox are positioned as contenders for control of Hell. For reference, earlier clips and teasers showed those dynamics.

“Gravity” song and Lute’s threat

The first NYCC clip focuses on the song Gravity, which features Lute confronting Charlie over Adam’s death. In the scene, Lute blames Charlie and vows revenge; she explicitly suggests harming Vaggie so Charlie will understand loss. The song is now available on multiple digital services.

Vox’s clip and power play

The second NYCC clip centers on Vox, who calmly outlines a plan to seize control of Hell. He presents the idea to Valentino and Velvette, and the scene connects to a plan teased in the season 1 finale and in earlier promotional material.

Live Broadway concert details

Alongside the clips, the NYCC panel announced a one-night Hazbin Hotel Broadway concert on Oct. 20 in New York City. Erika Henningsen will host the event, and the performer list includes Blake Roman, Amir Talai, Alex Brightman, Christian Borle, Jessica Vosk, Jeremy Jordan, and Krystina Alabado. Stephanie Beatriz and Kimiko Glenn were listed as “special appearances.”
