Event overview

The Max Finale event centers on Eternatus and Max Battles. Importantly, you must level up the Go Pass: Max Finale battle pass to obtain Eternatus; defeating it in a Power Spot awards points toward that pass rather than a catch encounter. Moreover, the Go Pass’s daily points limit is removed for the event, so you can level faster if you raid and battle in Power Spots.

Key bonuses include:

  • 3,200 Max Particles per day (up from 1,500).
  • More Power Spots active and refreshing more often.
  • Doubled candy and candy XL from catches.
  • Go Pass rank rewards at ranks 20, 40, and 89 (extra Max Particles from Power Spots, buffs to Zacian’s and Zamazenta’s signature moves, increased wild spawns at Power Spots, and extra Power Spot rewards).
