What’s Inside the Wisdom of Sea and Sky Expansion?

This set is packed with over 200 cards split into two booster packs, each led by legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh and Lugia. But it’s not just the legends stealing the show. The beloved starter trio of Cyndaquil, Chikorita, and Totodile also make their grand entrance, alongside fan-favorite Eeveelutions Espeon and Umbreon.

Here are some highlights to watch for:

  • Ho-Oh ex: Fire-type, 150 HP. Its Phoenix Turbo attack deals 80 damage and lets you attach fire-, water-, and lightning-type energies to any basic Pokémon on your bench.
  • Lugia ex: Colorless-type, 150 HP. Elemental Blast attack hits for 180 damage but requires fire-, water-, and lightning-type energies.
  • Red Gyarados: Water-type, 130 HP. Wild Swing attack does 20 damage plus 40 more for every water-type Pokémon discarded from your bench.
  • Umbreon ex: Darkness-type, 140 HP. Darkness Fang attack deals 80 damage, and its Dark Claw ability lets you switch one of your opponent’s damaged Pokémon into the active spot (only when Umbreon ex is active).
  • Espeon ex: Psychic-type, 140 HP. Psychic Healing ability restores 30 HP to a damaged Pokémon, and Super Psy Bolt attack deals 80 damage.
  • Silver: Trainer card that forces your opponent to reveal their hand and lets you shuffle any revealed supporter cards back into their deck.

These cards not only bring nostalgia but also add exciting new strategies to your deck.

Gameplay Improvements to Look Forward To

Along with fresh cards, the update introduces some quality-of-life changes that fans have been asking for. The trading system is revamped: instead of trade dust, you’ll now use shinedust to make trades. This change is designed to make trading smoother and more rewarding.

Plus, there’s a brand-new Wishlist feature. You can now add up to 20 cards to your Wishlist, making it easier to showcase which cards you want the most. This should help with trading and collecting alike.

If you’re eager to dive into the Wisdom of Sea and Sky expansion and experience all these new cards and improvements, mark your calendar for July 30 and get ready to boost your Pokémon TCG Pocket collection!
