PowerWash Simulator 2 Launches — The Oddly Addictive Game That Makes Cleaning Feel Epic

PowerWash Simulator 2 is a first-person cleaning simulation developed by FuturLab and released on Oct. 23. It is the direct sequel to PowerWash Simulator, which first arrived in early access in 2021.
Overview
PowerWash Simulator 2 continues the series’ focus on cleaning tasks played from a first-person perspective. The sequel expands on the original by adding additional tools, levels, and customization options. In addition, the game keeps the same core loop: locate dirt, choose the appropriate tools and nozzles, and remove grime from objects and environments.
New features
The sequel introduces several concrete additions:
- New tools and nozzles for different cleaning needs.
- Gadgets that provide vertical access, including a scissor lift and a hanging seat.
- Base decoration, allowing players to buy and place furniture in a home base.
- Expanded level variety, with new multi-stage jobs and diverse objects to clean.
These items were listed among the observable changes in the build that was reviewed prior to release.
Gameplay and level design
Each job in PowerWash Simulator 2 tasks the player with removing dirt from a specific building or object. Levels range from single-object jobs to multi-part assignments that unlock additional sections as players clean. Moreover, certain levels use verticality and equipment to access higher or hard-to-reach areas.
Progression and upgrades
Players can spend in-game currency on powerwashers, nozzles, and other equipment. In addition, the game provides a progression structure: completing jobs unlocks more levels and purchase options. The sequel keeps the same fundamental mechanics as the original while offering more items and customization paths.
