PS Plus October Brings Silent Hill 2, Until Dawn, Poppy Playtime — and Tekken 3 Finally Arrives on PS5
PlayStation has revealed the Extra and Premium lineups for October 2025, bringing a mix of horror remakes, indie hits, and a classic fighter’s first PS5 appearance. For full details, Sony posted the list on this PlayStation Blog post.
October lineup highlights
This month’s Extra and Premium catalogs lean into spooky season. Silent Hill 2 (the PS5 remake released last year) and Until Dawn (an interactive slasher-style title first released in 2014 and remastered in 2024) are both included on the Extra tier. In addition, the toy-themed horror puzzle Poppy Playtime joins the list, arriving just in time for Halloween.
Beyond horror, PlayStation is adding several non-scary picks. Yakuza: Like a Dragon arrives on Extra, along with the twin-stick shooter Wizard with a Gun. The vampire-themed action-RPG V Rising (from 2024) is also joining the catalog.

Silent Hill 2 — the remake of the 2001 classic, updated for PS5 and now available on Extra and Premium.

Premium-only: Tekken 3 on PS5
There is one Premium-only addition: Tekken 3. Originally an arcade release in 1997 and then ported to the original PlayStation in 1998, this version marks the franchise’s first appearance on PS5. Notably, the PS5 release includes up-rendering and the ability to capture clips.

Also joining Extra this month is As Dusk Falls, a narrative-driven, dialogue-heavy adventure that first launched on Xbox in 2022 and arrived on PS5 in 2024. Meanwhile, the month lines up with the release timing for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, so October brings a noticeable amount of vampire-themed content.
Finally, these Extra and Premium additions complement the previously announced Essential tier titles for October, which include Alan Wake 2 and Goat Simulator 3.
