Run a Doomsday Cult in Join Us — Recruit Followers, Outfit Battle Buses and Survive the Apocalypse

Join Us is an upcoming PC survival sim from Quebec studio Wolf Haus Games that puts you in charge of a doomsday cult: design the belief system, recruit followers, build a compound, and defend or expand it with weapons such as guns, flamethrowers, buses with machine-gun turrets, and even battle pigs. The game will be playable solo or in co-op for up to four players, and it’s scheduled for release on Windows PC in 2026.
Overview
Wolf Haus Games describes Join Us as a survival title that centers on managing a doomsday cult ahead of an impending apocalypse. Players take the role of The Leader, and they can set up local chapters by establishing compounds and bringing followers into the group.
Gameplay and features
The game lets you create a cult’s teachings and recruit impressionable followers. Additionally, you manage a base where you can farm and expand your operations. Players can equip and upgrade defenses, and the studio compares the process of growing a cult to franchising, in a satirical vein.
Base building and recruitment
You can build a compound, run local chapters, and command followers. Furthermore, the game includes resource and farming mechanics typical of survival sims.
Weapons and defenses
Join Us lists a variety of weapons for defending or expanding your compound, including conventional firearms, flamethrowers, improvised vehicle turrets, and named features like battle pigs. The reveal material also shows vehicles such as buses modified for combat.
Scenarios and enemies
According to the studio, Join Us will put players through multiple apocalyptic scenarios. For example, the reveal trailer shows climate disasters, mass extinctions, and even Lovecraftian horrors emerging from the earth.
Multiplayer
The game supports solo play and cooperative multiplayer for up to four players. Co-op is explicitly mentioned by Wolf Haus Games as an option alongside single-player gameplay.
