The Direct is billed as a dedicated showcase for Kirby Air Riders. Masahiro Sakurai, the game director and creator of the Super Smash Bros. series, will host the session and present new information about the title.

When and where to watch

The stream will air on Oct. 23, starting at 6 a.m. PDT / 9 a.m. EDT, and it is scheduled to run for 60 minutes. You can watch it on Nintendo’s official channels.

In addition, Nintendo will stream the Direct on Nintendo’s Twitch channel, and it will also be available via the Nintendo Today app.

What Sakurai has promised

Sakurai has stated that the Direct will include both news and gameplay details for the game. Therefore, expect an extended look at mechanics, modes, and playable features rather than only a short trailer.

Release date and previous details

Kirby Air Riders is scheduled to arrive for the Switch 2 on Nov. 20. Moreover, Nintendo already dedicated a 45-minute Direct to the game in August, during which Sakurai revealed several specifics such as the implementation of a second button, the game’s playable cast, and the return of the City Trial mode.

Finally, tune in on Oct. 23 if you want the full hour of Sakurai-led details and gameplay footage — the presentation will be the next big look at Kirby Air Riders before its November release.
