What the movie is about

KPop Demon Hunters follows members of the Korean girl group HUNTR/X — Rumi, Zoey, and Mira. When they are not selling out arenas, they use their music to fight demons that try to cross over and steal human souls. Using their voices to create mystical emotional connections with fans, HUNTR/X aims to seal the border between the worlds, while facing a new threat: a demon boy-band called the Saja Boys.

Music and cultural notes

The film was released in June. Since then, HUNTR/X’s song “Golden” reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 1. In addition, the movie’s songs have inspired numerous covers on YouTube and a wave of fanfiction and fan-created content online.

Who might want this

In short, the sing-along on Netflix is useful for anyone who missed the theater event or prefers to sing at home. Because it’s on the streaming platform now, fans can rewatch and sing along at their own pace.
