The puzzle comes with a short riddle: Within the caverns of Mount Yōtei, a lost boy surrendered to a tired sleep The wolves stood guard Looking toward the mountain. The practical meaning is simple: orient the wolves so they face the central statue.
You’ll see one large statue in the center and four smaller wolf statues around it. Your goal is to rotate all four smaller statues so they face the larger, central statue. However, rotating one statue will affect an adjacent one, so order matters.
Facing the puzzle, rotate the statues in this order:
- Front-right
- Front-left
- Back-left
- Back-right
Follow that sequence and each wolf will end up facing the center. For reference, here’s the visual aid used during testing:

Completing the Reliquary of Resilience will either grant or upgrade the Charm of Yōtei. This charm provides a small, blanket damage reduction.
According to testing, this reward matches the pattern for other reliquary puzzles: rewards appear to scale depending on how many reliquaries you’ve already completed. In short, expect either a new Charm of Yōtei or an upgrade to the one you already have.
That’s all you need to clear this one. Get up the cliff, rotate the wolves in order, and snag that charm.
