The Sims 4’s Reality-TV DLC Lets Sims Compete — But Will It Actually Make Them Famous?

The Sims 4’s upcoming Adventure Awaits expansion adds a new reality TV-style competition system, but EA has not said whether those competitions will grant Fame Points for players who also own the Get Famous expansion.

Competition feature details
EA has announced that Adventure Awaits will include a competition mechanic where Sims can face off in varied contest types. According to promotional material, those categories include cooking contests (similar to Iron Chef), elimination-style challenges inspired by Survivor, and romance competitions modeled on Love Island.
Additionally, some of the game’s promotion references reality-TV themes directly, for example an in-game lot named Love Highland. EA’s posts about the expansion have shown multiple aspects of the competition system, but they have not published a full breakdown of rewards for winners.

Get Famous compatibility and what’s unknown
Get Famous, released in 2018, gives Sims a Fame Points system. Sims earn Fame Points through acting careers, selling creative work, social media activity, and livestreaming. As Sims gain Fame, they unlock perks such as free gifts, fan mail, and access to exclusive locations.
However, EA has not confirmed whether winning competitions in Adventure Awaits will award Fame Points or otherwise interact with Get Famous. EA’s coverage of Adventure Awaits so far does not mention cross-DLC features with Get Famous, and no official announcement has clarified that connection.
For reference, EA has previously documented cross-feature interactions for other packs. For example, EA’s post on the Businesses & Hobbies expansion outlines multiple integrations with other DLC.
EA’s own Adventure Awaits overview is available from their site, and it currently focuses on the new features rather than on DLC compatibility.

Other Adventure Awaits features
Beyond the competition element, EA lists several other additions in Adventure Awaits. These include kayaking, weightlifting, a summer camp for children, the return of Imaginary Friends, and a new vacation type called a Getaway.
Adventure Awaits is described as the 85th DLC pack for The Sims 4. EA has shared multiple previews of the expansion but has not yet detailed how rewards from competitions will be handled at launch.
Until EA provides confirmation about Fame Point interactions or other cross-DLC rewards, the question of Get Famous compatibility remains open. We will update when EA announces any specific integrations.
