Where is Tophat Gudetama hiding this week?
This week (starting June 23), Tophat Gudetama can be found at the bottom left corner of Mount Hothead, right on top of a cliff. Keep your eyes peeled for that signature tophat and sleepy expression! If you’re struggling to spot him, don’t worry—he’s tucked away but not impossible to find if you know where to look.
How to complete the quest
Once you find Tophat Gudetama, just pull out your camera and snap a quick photo. That’s all it takes to mark the quest as complete. This is the same process as with other hidden Gudetamas scattered around the island. Remember, for the first two weeks, you’ll see quests called “The Laziest Egg” and “The Laziest Eggs” from Pochacco. After those are done, you won’t see a quest for Tophat Gudetama in your list anymore, but Pochacco will still remind you at the start of each week!
What’s the reward this week?
As a reward for your egg-spotting skills, you’ll get the plans to craft Decorative Gudetama #49. Not bad for a quick photo, right?
All possible locations and rotation info
It’s worth noting that Tophat Gudetama rotates through 52 different spots around the map. Once all locations are cycled through, they start repeating. Since Hello Kitty Island Adventure has been out on Apple Arcade for a while, most locations have already rotated for iOS players. If you want to see the full list of potential hiding spots, check out the Hello Kitty Island Adventure Wiki for a handy guide.
Happy hunting, and don’t forget your camera—Tophat Gudetama won’t stay in one spot for long!
