If you’re diving into Donkey Kong Bananza and exploring The Divide, you’ll want to make sure you don’t miss any of the valuable Banandium Gems hidden throughout this colorful and gooey fourth layer. Banandium Gems in Sublayer 400 of The Divide
So far, nine Banandium Gems have been found in Sublayer 400. Here’s a quick guide to each one:
#1: Stomped Stompenclomper
Defeat the Stompenclopper in the Canyon Layer, then jump into the hole to land near a gem worth five bananas. Easy and rewarding!
#2: A Switcheroo Boost
At the end of the bridge, look over the edge to spot an outcropping leading to the Ancient Ruin. Drop down and navigate the goo — breaking pink goo creates blue goo and vice versa. For this gem, break enough pink goo straight ahead to form a climbable blue path leading to a gem on the platform.
#3: A Switcheroo Breakthrough
Head to the back of the level. Smash some pink goo on the left to create a climbable wall on the right, then break the pink goo on the right to climb up the left side. Use the blue goo bridge you form by destroying the bottom layer of pink goo to punch through a wall and reach the gem.
#4: A Masterful Switcheroo Maneuver
Climb to the top and punch pink goo at the center of the map to create a blue goo platform underneath. Make it high enough to get under the cage holding the gem. Starting just above the middle of the pink goo works best.
#5: Divide Quiz Master
Facing away from the Teeleporter, look up and to the right to find a Quiz Master on a floating platform. Throw a chunk at him to bring him down and answer his quiz to earn a gem.

#6: Switcheroo Through the Wall
With your back to the Teeleporter, head right and drop down onto a platform with pink goo. Smash it to create a blue stairwell on the other side of the wall. Climb up and drop off the opposite side to climb the stairs and reach the gem.
#7: Safe-Landing Switcheroo
Facing the Teeleporter, walk to the left edge of the map, then turn right and drop down a step. Look over the left edge to see another platform below. Climb along the ceiling, smashing pink goo on each side to form blue platforms, then proceed to the banana.
#8: Battle: Uproot the Brute
Drop down to a secret area past the Teeleporter on either side. Follow the goo paths to find an Ancient Ruin. Complete the battle course by pulling turnips until you face a Crockoid to defeat for a banana reward.
#9: Cranky’s Divide Rant
Destroy the pink goo cube beside the Teeleporter to create a climbable blue wall. Climb up to the platform above the Teeleporter, look up, and throw a chunk at the floating platform to lower it. There you’ll find Cranky Kong. Listen to his rant to earn a Banandium Gem.
